I love The Mantra Discord's older stuff, but (as a huge Evpatoria Report fan) if this is the direction of the band I'll be very excited. Make a whole album like this and I'll be handing you my wallet!

about
"We'll Find the Light in Darkness" is our shortened homage to one of the greatest underrated post-rock bands of all time, The Evpatoria Report, specifically their track "Taijin Kyofusho"
There is also influences from other essential post-rock bands Mono, Joy Wants Eternity, We Lost the Sea, etc.
We hope you all enjoy this single as it's one of our very first post-rock tracks that we have ever done that features none of our usual proggy elements and also the first to be featured with our record label, Eternal Colossus.
Thank you for checking it out.
Cheers!

Merci Déhà for the download code. Lots of bands use these ingredients – pretty female vocals over doomy guitars always sounds good, but usually that's where the ideas run out. That isn't the case here. Each song is packed with ideas and evolutions, genres and references it's boring to list but not at all to listen to. A pleasure to have been introduced to this. Luke

Almost Honest have continued to push the envelope within the modern heavy underground scene. To David's point, while they reside within the Stoner/Doom landscape, they possess a wildly catchy, diverse and intriguing sense of songwriting, meticulously merging elements of grunge, punk, metal and alternative rock. Honestly, this could be their best work yet. Bucky
Anyone homesick for the classic sound of ’90s math rock will fall in love with the jagged guitars & tricky tempos on “LLC.” Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 6, 2023

This is technically a double album, though you might not realize it at first. The first five tracks are the score to the narration of “Roses of War (730-731 AT)” as narrated by Christopher Robert Andreasen. The score itself is dark and moody, punctuating the heavy emotions of wartime. I strongly recommend listening to each half of those album separately to truly appreciate each presentation to its fullest, as both are truly fascinating. Kirk Gauthier
